It's not exactly about America. It's about you being able to live free, and believe, do, and live how you want. If you really don't appreciate that, move to a middle eastern country where you have to live and believe exactly like they do, or you risk death.

I think I have freedom of speech and If I don't like America it shouldn't be anyone's reason to tell me to move away.

My issue is not that you hate America. My issue is you dissing the 4th of July. You're essentially telling the people that died so you could live free, that you couldn't care less about their sacrifice.

Well of course I feel bad for all those people who died for this country.
Also those who died fighting for Iraq, Asia, erh Ireland and etc.

4th of July is suppose to be a day where you thank all of those who served the country yadda yadda but I just hate America but I never said I hated the people. Especially those who served.

"Feeling bad" and "appreciating" them are very different things.

Well, then you hate the people. Because the government isn't close enough to you to affect you, except through the people.

Everyone has someone they hate. But you shouldn't let your hatred of one person keep you from appreciating the sacrifice of another.

u do realize that some people do believe that our gov is a fraud and the founding fathers were drunk when they were writing the declaration of independence and the sad thing is that it all makes sense...

we the people... but guess what the people dont elect the president the electoral college does and how do we know they actually pick the people who have the popular vote...

i dont really like the government all that much if u couldnt tell

People always believe the worst about what doesn't agree with them.

And, for the record, the Declaration of Independence has nothing to do with the U.S. government. That'd be the Constitution.

The Electoral College carries the votes that really count, true, but the members of the Electoral College almost never vote against their state's opinion. So, it's kind of a double-negative. Yes, they carry the real vote, but they vote for what the people want.
If I'm not mistaken, members of the Electoral College are usually replaced if they vote against their state's wishes.

How is putting millions of Africans in a ship and taking them across the sea, many miles away from their home land, and selling them just? Or how about murdering all the people who have been in this land now known as "America" since 14,000 B.C., just to take the land away, to create a society of justice where everyone is free, which is true since of course Africans, and Native Americans aren't people. (Sarcasm.)

Freedom..is subjective. You're arguing freedom to be a life without consequence. In this case, I'm arguing freedom to be a life where a government doesn't not control what you worship, wear, eat, and say.
Freedom, as a life without consequence, cannot exist.

I don't know anyone who would say that those actions were just.
And I don't know anyone who hasn't messed up before.
And I don't know anyone who deserves the blame for something their ancestors did.

I have the urge to lock this due to the debates.
