We strolled down the road (path?) of thunder,
crawled through the dirt,
trying to get away,
to get away,
to find a little room to breathe

But the records don't spin,
and the hearts don't beat
peirced and torn in a flash,
be it steel, or the life we can't forget..

The dust won't settle,
and the friends won't get back up
why are the memories in my head
the demons on my back?

and we strolled down the path of thunder,

peirced by a single flash,
steel taking away this life I'll never forget.

they took my leg,
but maybe it wasn't enough
and so they burned out my my mind,
they condemned this rotten soul,
to a coffin of thought,
nailed with broken lives, and dreams without solitude

but we strolled down the path of thunder..
